Lions of Georgia 8 Initiatives
In 1925, Helen Keller attended the Lions Clubs International Convention and challenged Lions to become “knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness.” What started as a crusade for vision has expanded to include other important service areas as well. Currently there are eight areas that Lions International have identified as priorities for Clubs to help local communities in. These dirrectives are a guideline for some of the types of service that Lions Clubs worldwide can focus their efforts on.
