GEORGIA DISTRICT 18-O:
Governor Christy Wray

Hello fellow Lions! My name is Christy Clark Wray and I am from Camilla, Georgia. Throughout my 27-year career in public school education, I have served as a high school mathematics teacher, academic math coach, competition cheerleading coach, BETA Club Sponsor, Senior Class Sponsor, district curriculum director, and assistant superintendent. I currently serve as the Superintendent of Schools in Turner County.

I was born and raised in Wheeler County (Alamo, Georgia). I have been married to my husband, Thomas, for 27 years and we have two daughters, Loren and Taylor. Loren is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia and is currently in year 2 of the Doctor of Dentistry program in Augusta at the medical college. Taylor is a senior at Georgia Southern University enrolled in the nursing program and a multi-year National Champion collegiate athlete with the GSU Southern Clay Target Team.

As a member of the Camilla Lions Club since 2017, I have held several positions at the local and multi-district level, including club secretary, vice-president, president, service chairperson, and zone chair. I am proud to serve as the District Governor for District 18-O!
