The revised state awards program focuses on services tied directly to statewide and Lions Clubs International Initiatives. Rather than asking that clubs complete applications, the state awards committee uses data submitted into the Lions Portal from each club to enter the clubs service hours into the appropriate categories. This allows ALL clubs that are in good standing the opportunity to be awarded recognition for their service efforts. The awards will focus on service hours entered in the Lions Portal throughout the Lions year from July 2024-April 2025.
Other submissions include: Scrapbook (Electronic or Paper) and Social Media. Details of each of those to follow on their categories below.
Awards given for the Lions Clubs International Initiatives will be: Vision, Diabetes Awareness, Pediatric Cancer, Environment, and Hunger. (The latest initiatives will be added to the Awards program in the 2025-2026 Lions' year.)
Eligibility: All State of Georgia Lions Clubs in Good Standing

Deadline: April 1st unless otherwise specified in the award details
All Awards will be given during the 2025 MD 18 State Convention. Each category will have a Winner and a Runner Up.
